Who we are

This website is run by Thompsons Garage, 3 Patterson's Place, Belfast BT1 4HW. We're responsible for the personal information you send us through it. If you have a question about this policy or your information, email bookings@clubthompsons.com or call 028 9032 3762.

What we collect and why

Table requests. When you ask for a table we collect your name, mobile number and email, the night you want, the occasion and any notes, along with the table you've built (room, guests, bottles and mixers). We use them to reply, confirm availability and your final price, and look after the booking on the night. We do this because you've asked us to, before and as part of an agreement with you.

Venue hire and other enquiries. When you contact us we collect your name, email, phone number if you give it, and what you tell us about your event: the type, date, guest numbers and your message. We use them to reply and plan your event with you.

We don't take payment through this website, and we don't use what you send us for marketing or add you to a mailing list.

Photos from our nights

We photograph our nights and publish the photos in the galleries on this website and on our social media. If you appear in a photo and would like it taken down, email bookings@clubthompsons.com with a link to it and we'll remove it.

Who handles it for us

When you send a form it's delivered by email to our bookings inbox. Two companies help us do that, and only act on our instructions:

• Cloudflare hosts this website and runs the forms.
• Resend delivers the form emails to our inbox.

Some of their systems are outside the UK. Where your information is transferred abroad, it's protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

If the form can't send for any reason, your device opens your own email app with the details filled in, and you send it to us yourself.

Tickets and other websites

Tickets are sold by Glistrr, Fatsoma and some promoters' own websites. When you follow a ticket link, that company handles your details under its own privacy policy, not this one. Event artwork on this website is loaded from Glistrr, which means Glistrr's servers see your device's IP address, as with any image on the web.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it to deal with your request or booking, and for any longer period the law requires us to, for example for accounting.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the information we hold about you
• correct anything that's wrong
• delete it, or stop or limit how we use it
• pass it to you or another organisation in a usable format

Email bookings@clubthompsons.com and we'll reply within a month. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Under 18s

Thompsons is over 18s only. This website isn't meant for anyone younger, so please don't send us your details if you're under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information we'll update this page and the date at the top.
